Here’s what the people of Denver had to say about why they save, value and love their water.

As it turns out, Denver is crazy about its water.

How do we know? Because we took the conversation about water to the streets, as part of the American Water Works Association’s 2016 Drinking Water Week.

This year’s theme: “Your Water — To know It Is To Love It.” And apparently our customers know a lot. Check it out:

“I save water because I am from the desert.” “I save water because I am from the desert.”

The less water available, the more precious it becomes. While Colorado may not conjure up images of cacti and rolling tumbleweeds, our climate is typically very dry.
